About This Spot
Stepping into La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant, you immediately sense a warm, inviting energy that feels like a well-loved neighborhood retreat rather than a hurried dining stop. It’s the kind of place where familiar faces blend seamlessly with new visitors, creating a sense of belonging for both regulars and those discovering it for the first time in Knoxville.
This is a space that embraces tradition with an easygoing spirit—offering a comforting hum of conversation underlined by the occasional clink of glasses and the rich, enticing aroma of spices and grilled fare. Service feels personal, guided by folks who genuinely seem to care about each guest’s experience without rushing through the essentials. The atmosphere is neither flashy nor loud, but quietly confident, marked by a genuine hospitality that invites you to linger.
The menu here acts as a flavorful journey through Mexican cuisine’s heart and soul. From freshly fried chips paired with salsa that hits the perfect balance of heat and brightness to hearty offerings like the sizzling chicken fajitas or the comforting warmth of a molcajete, every dish feels thoughtfully crafted to nourish as much as to delight. Drinks, including a memorable margarita that’s big on both size and spirit, round out the experience with a touch of celebratory cheer—perfect companions to both a solo meal and a shared night with friends or family.
La Fiesta’s charm lies in its unpretentious authenticity, making it a go-to spot for those who appreciate food rooted in cultural care and a welcoming vibe. Whether you’re stopping by for a satisfying lunch or settling in for a relaxed dinner, it feels less like eating out and more like coming home to a meal prepared with heart.

While traveling through Knoxville, we saw a billboard advertising La Fiesta so we pulled it up on Google Maps and discovered it was only two minutes away. We stopped in for lunch and had a very good experience. The salsa had just the right amount of heat while we waited for our entrees. My burrito simplicity was very good and a substantial portion. Our server was excellent. The restaurant is dimly lit and well appointed with Mexican themes. The crowd at that time of day tended toward construction workers and older adults. This was on a Friday. If we are passing through again, we will return for another meal.

Take out order, didn't get what I ordered or how I ordered, but the food was so good it isn't worth knocking a star off. Quick kind service. I don't even like guacamole and it was still good! I'm now just looking forward to getting the correct order. (Ordered a enchilada, burrito, chalupa, no tomato. Received 2 enchilada and taco(no burrito) lots of tomato, a fajita steak chimichanga and chips). Not even disappointed.

Nice mexican restaurant. The service left a little bit to be desired, but the food and atmosphere was very traditional. Handicap accessible, decent prices, and chill. I shall return to this business.

We had a great dining experience here. Food and staff were fantastic. Sheyla is outstanding and runs a wonderful family business. We will be back!

The food was delicious! I had the fajita chicken chimichanga and my husband had the fajita chicken burrito. Everything came out freshly made as ordered. The decor is a little dated but everything was very clean. The server was polite, but didn't come by often. We would've liked more chips and salsa but none were offered. Other than that, a great visit. We will definitely come back soon!

I am from California, living in New Jersey now. Visiting family in Knoxville. I will admit, this was the best Mexican food I've had since we moved to the East Coast. I'm still craving their Carnitas. Everyone in our group loved what they ordered. Leftovers were even better the next day!

Let me first start by saying how amazing the customer service was. Big shoutout to Mimo. I called ahead of time to see if i could come in before close, and when I got there, he greeted me by name. Not only that, he checked several times while I was eating to make sure that I was having a great experience. Give that guyba raise! I had the burrito panchon. It was very delicious, tender, and much like a street burrito. Will definitely visit again if I'm ever in the area. #Happy Customer
